Erin is growing bigger every day, and is becoming more alert and aware of her surroundings. She enjoys making eye contact, especially during diaper changing time.

Everyone is Home Now

Jeannine came home from the hospital yesterday, and we are all a happy family at home.

Erin is FINALLY Home!

She came home yesterday after 7 nights and 8 days in the Neonatal Special Care Unit. She was quite impressed that there was a world outside of the room she had been in for her first week.

Mom is still in the hospital (complications from the difficult delivery), but should be home tomorrow. It will be a thrill to have the whole family home at the same time.

Erin is doing great

As of Sunday, Erin is off of her IV drip. She still needs to take her antibiotics through her IV lock, but she no longer has a constant tube of dripping solution going into her arm.

She's also eating a lot, sleeping, and spitting up here and there. We expect her to be able to come home on Wednesday or Thursday, and we can't wait!
